Latvian-born, Lithuania-based lens-based artist educated in the UK, I hold a BA (Hons) in Photography from Nottingham Trent University (2016). My graduate series was selected for Free Range, London, and featured in the British Journal of Photography’s promotion that year. From 2013-19 I refined medium-format and digital workflows in a commercial studio before stepping away from professional practice. I returned in 2022 with Flora Portraits, an ongoing project that slows time through living-flower portraits made on film, digital, and phone cameras. I plan to deepen this plant-centred meditation, using a deliberately slow photographic process as counterpoint to an accelerating world.
