“Flora Portraits” is my quiet study of flowers captured on black-and-white medium-format film. A slow, mindful process lets me linger with each bloom, noticing the tilt of a stem or flare of a petal before I press the shutter. Every frame becomes a double portrait—one of the flower’s own presence and one of my patience reflected back at me. By honoring the slowness and tactility of analog craft, I hope this series shows how fragility and strength can live on the same stem, and how genuine connection begins with attentive looking.
